Here’s a preparation tip: stacks of books that without a due date. Buy yours inexpensively at the upcoming Roanoke County Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale. From September 30 to October 5, there will be thousands to choose from. For a real bargain, try half-price day on Wed., Oct. 4, and bargain $3 box day on Thursday, Oct. 5.
