Have you taken part in the Goodreads Reading Challenge? Online tools such as Goodreads and Library Thing are good ways to track reading goals, and that measurement makes a difference. I’ve slowly increased over the years and this year met my goal of 60 books.
In 2017, more than 3 million Goodreads members read an average of 5 books each for a total of 45 million books. Half a million users met their personal challenges, and the average goal was 45 books. So clearly not everyone meets their goal, and that’s OKAY.
Even reading a few more books than you read last year is a good thing, right? Set a reasonable goal, measure it, and be forgiving if life gets in the way. On Goodreads? Join the BOOK CITY ★ ROANOKE group here. And happy reading!
