The 11th annual Roanoke Regional Writers Conference will be held on January 19 and 20 at Hollins University. The Friday evening keynote presenter will be Jane Friedman. Friedman, an award winning blogger, has 20 years of experience in the publishing industry, is a previous Writer’s Digest writer and a current Publishers Weekly columnist. Saturday’s day-long agenda will feature sessions on fiction, non-fiction, marketing, self-publishing, traditional publishing, poetry, and more.
“The conference helps writers connect,” says organizer Liz Long. “It’s something we like to call ‘Tribe Vibe.’ We look forward to growing our tribe and strengthening our friendships with talented, hardworking writers.”
The $65 registration fee includes Saturday brunch in the Moody Dining Hall. The snow dates are January 26 and 27.
Thank you so much for sharing, Doug!
