Support the Harrison Museum of African American Culture after work this evening by attending Beth Macy‘s presentation on her book Truevine. The cost of the museum fundraiser is $20. The reception begins at 5:30 PM; the presentation at 6:15 PM. The museum is on the second level of Center in the Square in downtown Roanoke at 1 Market Square, SE.
A question and answer period will follow the talk. It will be moderated by Cathryn Hankla, professor of English and creative writing at Hollins University and Dr. Robert Schultz, John P. Fishwick professor of English at Roanoke College.
