Daylight savings time, which begins this weekend, doesn’t aid my reading habit. In theory, since it’s lighter later into the day, I should be able to turn more pages without even flipping a switch. But with all that daylight that remains after five PM, I’ll feel pressure to leave the house, to make the most of the increasingly pleasant weather. If you’re like me and daylight pulls you from your den, consider springing up at one of these upcoming literary, spoken word and storytelling events.
