  1. Cassandra King Conroy is the widow of acclaimed author Pat Conroy who wrote “Prince of Tides” and many other fabulous books including my favorite “My Reading Life”. Cassandra is a wonderful author in her own right. I was fortunate enough to find myself in the Beaufort SC area when she made a presentation in her hometown that began her book tour for this, her latest book. I really enjoyed reading her new book “Tell Me a Story” and even though I have heard her speak once about this book I am looking forward to hearing what she has to say again this Sunday at the South Library. Cassandra is a warm, engaging person as well as a talented author.
