★ Change Academy underway, attended by 55

The Roanoke Change Academy, our online discussion of policy approaches to change inspired by Dr. Ibram X. Kendi’s How to Be an Antiracist, kicked off on Monday, 9/14. Three more weeks remain in the event hosted by BOOK CITY ★ Roanoke and the Roanoke Public Libraries. The first hour-long discussion engaged 55 residents.

You can still sign up for the coming three sessions.

On Monday, 9/21, Dr. Liz Ackley, the Brian H. Thornhill Associate Professor in Health and Human Performance at Roanoke College, will guide our exploration of antiracism and health.
