Shenandoah Valley author Elizabeth Catte will appear Tuesday evening, June 12, at 7 PM at the Glenvar Branch of the Roanoke County Library.
Catte received attention this year for What You Are Getting Wrong About Appalachia (Belt Publishing, 2018). The work does a fine job of using Appalachian history, demographics and personal reflection to provide a more nuanced depiction than the region received during the 2017 presidential election coverage.
