Ed Falco and Grant Kittrell will read at Deschutes Lit on April 4 at 6:30 PM.
Ferrum College Adjunct Professor of English Cameron MacKenzie pulls together this series to showcase local writers. It’ll be a mix of students and more established authors and a blend of poetry and prose. Expect an hour’s worth of words, as each of the four readers will read for fifteen minutes.
Plan on purchasing books through partner Book No Further, and of course plan on beer. MacKenzie recommends Black Butte Porter to pair with Falco’s “tough-nosed work,” and the Mirror Pond Pale Ale with Kittrell’s “quirky yet soulful meditations.”
