Did you attend the Indecent Histories event in late August with Dr. Ibram X. Kendi and Justin Phillip Reed? Are you currently reading Stamped from the Beginning? Do you want to go deeper in conversation on the history of racist ideas with neighbors? How’d we get where we are? Where can we go next?

Join staff of the Roanoke Public Libraries and guests each Tuesday between January 7 and February 4 for a section-by section discussion of the books themes. Each discussion will occur at:

 6:30 PM
Melrose Branch Library
2502 Melrose Ave NW Suite D

Guest experts and local leaders will serve as our own guides, accompanying the historic guides Dr. Kendi uses to illustrate the events that shaped and changed our nation.
